The palace and park ensemble "Strelna"
The Strelna palace and park ensemble is located 19 kilometers from St. Petersburg, on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, near the Strelka and Kikenka rivers. In 2001, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir V. Putin, a global reconstruction of the ensemble was carried out. The dilapidated buildings of Strelna were restored and turned into the State Complex "Palace of Congresses".
Today, in addition to the famous Konstantinovsky Palace, the complex includes the Verhny and Nizhny Parks, the Konyushenny Building, a tour desk, a press center, the five-star Baltic Star Hotel, the Consulskaya Derevnya cottage village, and the Negotiation Pavilion, which is located on Petrovsky Island Also here you can see the Putevoy Palace of Peter I, Lvovskiy Palace and Orlovsky Park.
The palace and park ensemble Strelna is popular among tourists, as here you can touch not only the historical events of the past centuries, but also get acquainted with modern history.
