The first Holocaust museum in St. Petersburg will open in late February.
The museum will be located in the Military Medical Museum on Vvedensky Canal Street.
The exhibition will include more than 100 objects from Auschwitz, Majdanek and other concentration camps. Including the clothes of prisoners, samples of flour and caricatures that the guards painted.
The creators of the museum note that the visit should be, ideally, group, and not individual. So that people who will inspect the exposition listen to the tour.
"This is too important a topic to simply glance at documents, photographs, things and move on. People need to stop and understand what they see." -, the organizers emphasized.
