In place of curved and sagging plastic plates, the ceramic came to Petersburg bridges. The return of pointers with the names of bridges in the old style was handled by the Petersburg artist Yuri Osinin.

As they told in the blog of Artemy Lebedev, Yuri put the first ceramic pointer instead of the plastic one three years ago on the Tarakanovsky bridge. He did it without the consent of the authorities, but no one stylized the tablet and did not take it off. However, for the time that has passed since the installation of the first sign on the crossing, the tablet has not been removed and the vandals have not spoiled it. Therefore, the artist continued to return to the streets of ceramic signs.

The classic tablet differs from the new one not only from the material from which it is made, but also a neat font. And on some new plastic tablets there were even typos in names.
