The Palace Bridge in St. Petersburg and the Ostankino TV Tower in Moscow are painted in purple in support of patients with IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). Day WAS takes place in 50 countries. And Russia will join this social action for the second time.

Purple is the official color-symbol of the struggle with the WKO. Thus, the action, when masterpieces of architecture appear in purple, should attract the attention of residents of large cities to the problems of timely diagnosis and proper treatment of IBD.
