In St. Petersburg, after a long overhaul, the Nabokov Museum reopened.

You can visit the house on Bolshaya Morskaya, where the future great writer was born, and where a large memorial collection and a library have been gathered, once again from April 29. It also became known that the writer's things from the Swiss archives will be given to the Nabokov Museum.

“We are waiting for the replenishment of collections with 300 boxes of Nabokov archives. I think in these boxes there are diaries, notebooks, drafts, books and personal items of the writer that would be very helpful in research, ”said the new director of the museum, Andrey Astvatsaturov, to the Interfax news agency.

With the inauguration of Andrey Astvatsaturov, the Nabokov Museum wants to improve and create a whole research center. Organize creative readings, discussions and exhibitions. In one of the spaces of the museum, temporary expositions will probably change.
