Great Russian collectors.
The long-awaited exhibition presents masterpieces of Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse and other famous artists from the legendary collection of Michail and Ivan Morozov.
The General Staff demonstrates more than 100 works from the Hermitage collection and about 30 paintings from the State Museum of Fine Arts collected by the famous brothers Morozov. Visitors will see two portraits of Jeanne Samarie by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, “The Garden Corner in Montgeron” and “The Pond in Montgeron” by Claude Monet, the triptych “By the Mediterranean” by Pierre Bonnard, “Portrait of Ambroise Vollard”, “The Girl on the Ball” and “Wandering gymnasts” Pablo Picasso, “The Red Room” by Henri Matisse and other masterpieces. The whole hall is dedicated to the works of Paul Cezanne.
