The rating of the most popular suburban cities and regions of cities-organizers became known.

According to Turstat, tourists of the 2018 World Cup choose the nearest suburbs because of inexpensive accommodation in hotels, starting from a thousand rubles a day, and proximity to stadiums, as well as a developed hotel and transport infrastructure.

The top five most popular tourist destinations in the suburbs of the World Cup 2018 are Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region, Gatchina in the Leningrad region, Adler in Sochi, Bor in the Nizhny Novgorod region and Berezovsky in the Sverdlovsk region, - was posted on the agency's website.

The rating is based on the analysis of the popularity of the suburbs among tourists during the World Cup 2018.

In total, Russia will host up to two million foreign tourists during the World Cup.
