Petersburg began preparations for the New Year, one of the first official Christmas trees appeared on Lenin Square near the Finland Station. The Christmas tree is decorated with garlands that are dedicated to the Soviet cartoon about Winnie the Pooh, created by the tales of Alan Milne. Also, the festive Christmas tree already appeared near the metro station "Black River". And in early November, the first New Year tree appeared at the metro station "Gostiny Dvor".
