In the world, only 15 varieties of black tulips are known, three of them will be presented at the TSPKiO. The traditional tulip festival on Elagin Island will be held on May 19 and 20. Half of the presented varieties of this year will be planted for the first time in the park, among them, in addition to rare black, you can see tulips of "parrot" and "terry" varieties.
The theme of the festival this year was ballet: the color and graphic solution of flower gardens on Elagin Island will be based on sketches by Bakst, Benoit, Roerich, Golovin and Korovin. At the opening of the festival, guests will see a promenade concert, elegantly recreating the era of modernity with all the fine details of that time.
