The opening of the memorial 'To the courage of inhabitants of Leningrad' will take place on the 26 of January. The event will mark the anniversary of the complete liberation from the Blockade. The monument will be installed in 'Skver Blokadnikov' (Park of Blockade) near Ploschad Muzhestva metro station. The author and creator of the memorial is the honoured artist of Russia Eugeny Rotanov.
