The Hermitage will present works from the collection of the Louis Vuitton Foundation by Bernard Arnaud.

The famous collection includes masterpieces created by artists from different countries from 1947 to 2018. Among them are Alberto Giacometti, Yves Klein, Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter, Marina Abramovich and other outstanding masters. At the moment, the collection is represented in the State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, now the collection will arrive in St. Petersburg.

The director of the Hermitage, Mikhail Piotrovsky, told about the possibility of bringing a collection of the Louis Vuitton Foundation to the northern capital. According to him, the exposition can open in the main museum of St. Petersburg in a year or two.

“We have many modern talented and truly capable artists - their works are in our Louis Vuitton Foundation. As for the idea to bring our exhibition to St. Petersburg - why not? You can think about it, ”one of the richest people in the world, the owner of the collection Bernard Arno, assured journalists.
