On April 30, the Lenfilm studio celebrated its 100th anniversary.
The studio was founded at the same time as the Petrograd Cinema Committee. In honour of the anniversary free viewings of the studio's best films were organised. Before each viewing a documentary about the film was shown. The visitors were also offered a guided walk through the exhibition grounds of the studio.
