The lecture will be devoted to the history of the association "The Jack of Diamonds" and the work of individual artists - Kazimir Malevich, Vasily Kandinsky, Pavel Filonov and Vladimir Tatlin.
On May 10, at the Mikhailovsky Castle, a Russian Museum worker Anton Sheverdyaev will deliver a lecture entitled "Painting of the early 20th century: the Russian avant-garde". In particular, it will be about the legendary association "Jack of Diamonds", which existed from 1911 to 1917. At its sources stood Peter Konchalovsky, Mikhail Larionov, Aristarkh Lentulov and Ilya Mashkov.
