The General Staff presents paintings, drawings, installations and architectural models by Ilya Kabakov, relating to different periods of the artist's work. Moscow conceptualist, he became famous for his total installations, in which the work of art is not a single object, but an entire space. At the exhibition you can also get acquainted with the projects that Kabakov implemented together with his wife Emilia. In these works, the authors mythologize Soviet reality.
