The Museum of the Petersburg Art of XX-XXI Opened in St. Petersburg.
In the small hall of the Manege building (embankment of Griboedov channel, 103) the works of St Petersburg artists are on the display. According to the organizers they were inspired by the wish to assemble the art of the Northern capital. 25 years was needed to gather the collection. All the space on the Griboyedov canal, 103 where there was a small hall of "Manege", was transformed into the Museum of the Petersburg art of the XX-XXI centuries (MISP). The exhibits are from the great period of creativity Leningrad and St. Petersburg artists between 1910 to the present day. The Museum presents two exhibitions: paintings by Marika Zakrezewski "Ariadne's Thread" and a collection of graphics artists "Leningrad school" 1920-1940.
The Museum of the Petersburg Art of XX-XXI is open Thursday to Sunday from 2 p.m to 8 p.m.
On Wednesday the Museum is open up to 9 p.m.
